Koldbath Craft Kollektiv is Göteborg based co-creation craft house working towards economic and creative inclusion by highlighting the global and traditional skills of our members - newly arrived women in Sweden together with ‘Swedish grandmas.’

The Kollektiv uses only Swedish wool and quality up-cycled textiles to create unisex accessories made for life on the west coast of Sweden, while also creating our own jobs and method of integration.

In order to live our best and crafty life, we need some supplies!

Where our wool comes from:

Koldbath sources from the local wool market in Sweden and from small scale production only.

Ullcentrum and CCWool supply us with beautiful, unbleached, undyed, mulesing-free wool yarn & wool felt.

Wool Yarn

The yarn we use in Koldbath products come from sheep that graze on the beautiful island Öland, right outside of southern Sweden in the baltic sea. Ullcentrum supplies us with soft, undyed wool yarn in natural sheep colours.

Wool Felt

In some products we also use felted wool, which comes from sheep grazing less than 2 hours south of Gothenburg, in a village on the West coast. CCWool supplies us with the beautiful felt, which sometimes still contains tiny pieces of hay or herbs -the ultimate proof that Swedish sheep are living the good-life thanks to the world’s strictest animal welfare laws.

But wait…we need some color too!

At Koldbath’s craft studio we collect donations of unused yarn. We receive all types, which we sort by color and composition (an extremely satisfying activity). Some we use for practicing new techniques and teaching each other…but the good stuff (aka the pure wool), we use to create our ONE and ONLY collection.
